I (Dan Reese) am a Colorado native, raised in Northern Colorado. After working at fabricating and welding projects since 1983, I decided to apply some of my skills into metal art.
I have 2 shops. One of which is a custom fabricating shop. This is where I cut and bend both roll plate and sheet metal. The second being a 1000 sq ft shop at my home. I create my art in this shop after work... this is where I unwind and let the artist in me create. The shop was built and customized to accommodate my art work. I even built the powder coating oven. This shop is dedicated strictly to my metal art. No walk in customers, no phone, no distractions. Just me creating art.
My 1st project in 2003 was just for fun, to see what I could do. From a single layer elk scene to a 3-D, multiple layer fishing scene. Powder coating is just one way I enhance each art piece.
What makes my work different?
I've always enjoyed designing fabricating with items such as railings, staircases,
counter tops, bars, shelves, beds, furniture, patio covers. With the metal,
turned into art, there is a lot of gratification knowing each piece will be
enjoyed by someone at their home or office.
